Clydesdale Harriers Committee Meeting
Friday 21st July 2023 – Minutes
Clydebank Leisure Centre 7.00 p.m.
1. Attendance. P.Rudzinski, J.Wright, D.Rothin, G.Kennedy, J.Hanratty W.Jones, R.Paxton, D.Mitchell.
2. Apologies P.McCrossan , E.Paxton, S.McKee, W.Rooney.
3. Minutes of previous Meeting. The minutes were read and accepted as correct, moved by J.Wright and seconded by D.R.
4. Matters Arising. All on the agenda.
5. Correspondence. John Hanratty had passed on all correspondence via e-mail for action.
6. Treasurer’s Report. Reports for May and June read by JW and approved by GK and WJ.
7. Junior Section. Numbers have now stabilised at 25-30 most weeks. Numbers in the older age groups are still lacking. The club finished 5th overall in the YDL. The Highland Games season continues to be successful for our athletes with many of them winning cash prizes. We are hoping to organise the club track champs imminently, followed by a presentation night.
8. Website development. Still a work in progress with a few issues to be resolved. The website is still not yet available to view.
9. OCB. A – John Hanratty had attended the AGM of the West Dunbartonshire Sports Council. B – we received a donation of £100 from Loch Lomond Highland Games assoc., in recognition of our assistance on the day. C – JW has now set up a separate e-mail account for “welfare” issues, as required by Scottish Athletics.

10. Date of Next Meeting. Friday 15th September 2023. This will also be the AGM of the club.
