Clydesdale Harriers General meeting
Friday 19th January 2024 – Minutes
Clydebank Leisure Centre 7.00 p.m.
1. Attendance. P. Rudzinski, J. Wright, G. Kennedy, P. McCrossan, R. Paxton, E. Paxton, J. Hanratty.
2. Apologies, D. Rothin, D. Mitchell, W. Jones.
3. Minutes of previous Meeting. The minutes were read and accepted as correct, moved by J. Wright, and seconded by G.K.
4. Matters Arising. All on the agenda.
5. Treasurer’s Report. Monthly reports for November and December were read by JW and approved by GK and JH.
6. Correspondence. World Indoor champs – request for young athletes to act as helpers. None volunteered. Request from Livingston for membership costs – actioned. Entries for Masters and National XC Champs – to be completed.
7. Junior Section. Numbers attending training nights are still on the increase. Now getting up to 30 per Tuesday night, with 12 on a Thursday night. Eilidh Haggerty finished 4th in her race at the Powderhall Sprint. Social night was well attended and quite successful.
8. OCB. A. Website. – We now have 20 members who have registered with the website. We still need everyone, or the parents of the junior members, to register. B. Club XC Champs. – Respective club captains to liaise and agree a date and venue for this event. C. Roles and Responsibilities of Office Bearers and Committee Members. – Following on from the previous meeting, some of the relevant information has been documented. More to follow hopefully so that all tasks are covered. D. Request from B. McAusland for copies of minutes. – PR will copy all he has electronically to Brian.
