THE SCOTTISH NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

HELD AT CALLENDAR PARK, FALKIRK

Sunday 22 February 2025

Sunday 22 February saw the running of the Lindsays Scottish National Cross Country Championships at Callendar Park, Falkirk. The, now familiar, venue at Callendar Park, Falkirk proved a testing challenge with a mixture of undulating terrain and some twisting trail over the golf course.

The weather itself and underfoot conditions were ideal for cross country running and although we had no representatives in the Junior and Youths races we had a few Seniors competing.

First finisher in the Senior 10km race was Michael Miller (192) in a time of 38.49. As first club finisher Michael won the Dan MacDonald Cup, congratulations Michael. Second club finisher was Iain Robertson (460) in a time of 46.13 followed by Michael Diver (482) in a time of 47.10. Once again Michael decided catch  a train to Linlithgow, cycle to the race, compete and the same return journey, well done Michael!

In the Mens under 20  7.5km Daniel Docherty finished 61st in a time of 47.23.

Well done to all our athletes.
