Founded on 4th May 1885, Clydesdale Harriers Athletic Club was the first “open” amateur athletics club (i.e. – open to all members of the public and not just school pupils, university students etc.,) in SCOTLAND.

The club has quite an amazing history and has over the years been immensely successful at District and National Level with many members going on to represent Scotland at all levels.

We are extremely keen to promote athletics in our local community and we welcome new members, of all abilities, whatever their standard and assure them of a warm friendly welcome. Joining our club will give you the opportunity to become a member of a progressive proactive club that has a strong heritage and continuous focus on developing our future generations in athletics.

We are a fully inclusive, forward-looking club with a dedicated coaching team on hand, we are based in Clydebank, and everyone is welcome.
