Clydesdale Harriers were well represented with four runners, at the British and Irish XC international open race at Tollcross Park, Glasgow on Saturday. The event has now introduced a M80 category and Our Bobby Young was among the medals coming home in a time of 29:17, to win individual gold, accompanied by Pete Cartwright,  who took the silver medal in a time 34:11, and Jim Scobbie (bronze), time 34:19, as Scottish Vets team brought home all three medals. Our Pamela McCrossan also represented Scotland in the W60 category finishing in 12th position, time 26:42,  as part of  the Ladies team, securing a bronze team medal, alongside Fiona Matheson in 1st place and Hilary Ritchie who was in 9th place. Our James Austin finished in 7th place, in a time of 28:29, in the M55 category alongside fellow team mates Robert Paterson in 4th place and Stephen Allen 5th place as Scottish Vets team brought home the gold team medal.
