Last Saturday saw Clydesdale Harriers travel to a dry and sunny Lanark Racecourse for the National short course XC champs.
First race of the day saw u/15 girl Lily Duncan run a time of 9.13 to finish in 100th place.
Next up were the u/17 boys with Corey Donaldson finishing 95th in a time of 13.01, closely followed by Lewis Rider in 97th place in a time of 13.12.
Last race was the senior men’s event over a flat 4k route over the old horse racing circuit. First for the club was Michael Miller who was 125th in a time of 13.26, followed by Iain Robertson 338th in a time of 15.55, Graeme Wiseman 342nd in a time of 15.59, Daniel Docherty 488th in a time of 19.26 and finally club president Peter Rudzinski 505th in a time of 23.13. The men’s team finished as 35th team. Hopefully, we can build on these results by getting more athletes to compete in the forthcoming Dunbartonshire XC champs at Balloch Park on the 18th of this month.
