On Sunday 11th Feb 2024, the annual Scottish Masters National Cross Country Championships were held at Grant Park. This year being held in Forres in the county of Moray in North-East Scotland. Unfortunately due to a combination of circumstances we had only one runner competing in the event. Club president Peter Rudzinski, was competing for the 32nd time in this event, finishing in 25th place overall in the Men 65+ race – 8th place in the M70 Category, with a time of 41:39 .The weather was good, the course was tough, but a can of alcohol-free lager supplied by the sponsors made it all worthwhile for the hardy athletes who turned out!
