There have been several attempts at a club magazine and some have been more successful than others but one of the best produced, well written and with comprehensive comment was that done by Peter Rudzinski in 1995. The first edition is published below.
So there it is. I go on about communicating with the community and with each other. Gerry has got the website up and running and Peter has shown a talent for written communication. Why not resurrect Excelsior (the club motto: it means The Best) and get it to members, a copy to every school – or how about talking the Editor of the Clydebank Post into a regular column? Or – and here’s the revolutionary bit – how about a weekly blog on the website? Peter? Phil? Robert? Bobby Young (now there’s a thought)? John?
