Sunday 21st April saw the running of the DAAA 10 mile race, incorporating the West District 10 mile championships.
The race was run along the cycle /canal path from the Clydebank Leisure Centre to Bowling and back. a fast, fairly flat course.
first finisher for the club was v55 James Austin in a time of 58.23. Second to finish was v80 Bobby Young with the incredible time of 1.16.33. Not bad for an old guy! Club President Peter Rudzinski was the lead bike and Watson Jones, David Mitchell and Hugh Laverty turned out to help with the stewarding. well done to all who participated and assisted.
Sunday 28th April saw v55 Michael Diver travel to arran for the Ormidale 10k. Michael finished in 16th place in a time of 43.08. He then had to cycle back to the ferry to catch the boat back to the mainland for his train connection. well done Michael.
