Tuesday 19th December 2023 saw the annual Christmas Handicap Race for seniors. Completed across the usual 2.25 mile loop route from St Peter the Apostille School to the Drumry Road roundabout, along the Boulevard to Kilbowie Road, down Kilbowie Road and then back along East Thompson Street to the School.
Winner of the handicap, and with the fastest time of 14.12 was club captain Iain Robertson. Second finisher in a time of 16.56 was Ryan Nelson, third in a time of 15.49 was Graeme Wiseman and fourth in a time of 16.39 was Tony Dolan. Weather on the night was quite challenging with heavy showers and strong winds but at least the timekeeper was under cover, thank goodness!
